The 1st International Conference on Urban Planning (U-PLAN) 2025, set to take place from 22-24 April 2025 at Universitas Islam Sultan Agung (UNISSULA), Semarang, will explore the theme “Future Challenges of Inclusive, Responsive, and Innovative Spatial Planning.” This inaugural conference aims to address rapid urban growth and its associated challenges, such as urbanization, climate change, and the evolution of digital infrastructure, all through the lens of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 11: “Sustainable Cities and Communities.”
SDG 11 focuses on making cities inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable—a mission that resonates deeply with the themes of U-PLAN 2025.
